How We Became SHOES-n-FEET Store Owners
Hello, My wife (Dayna) and I (Jason) are the owners of the Shoreline location of Shoes n Feet. I have been in retail for over 12 years but nothing has been as enjoyable or educational as owning and operating a Shoes n Feet store. Shoes n Feet’s emphasis on customer service and continual focus on the health of each and every customer is what excited Dayna and I about opening a Shoes n Feet store. Even with top brands like New Balance, Dansko, Keen and so many others the real key to our success is the high level of customer service and knowledge we offer each and every customer. The continual education each shoe fitting specialist, including me, goes through to stay up on shoe technology, plantar facitis, neuromas, bunions and every other foot ailment not only keeps things interesting but helps us help you.
Our 6 year anniversary is in October 2009. We have been the key comfort shoe store in the Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Edmonds and surrounding area offering an array of men’s and women’s shoes and sandals with knowledge and expertise, but the one thing that keeps me excited about owning a Shoes n Feet store is how we help our customers overcome the pain or difficulty they are feeling. Over the years we have helped customers recover quicker from surgery, eliminate painful foot conditions as well as keep people from developing problems. Helping people in this way, I believe, improves quality of life and standard of living. Having suffered from the most common of foot ailments plantar fascitis I personally know the change to the activity levels caused by foot pain. When a customer returns to tell us the bunion no longer hurts or the trip to Europe was free of any foot discomfort I am overjoyed. Helping people is the real reason I opened the Shoes n Feet store and is the reason I continue to enjoy each and every customer.
