Shoes-n-Feet Seattle Staff Profiles

Dana Walker

I have been with SHOES-n-FEET since 2001, and have seen it grow, expand and change over the years.  It continues to be a niche company, offering "check under the hood” that is unparalleled for the most-part in retail business - especially in shoe stores.  I am the manager of the store in Seattle (Fremont).

I had the good fortune of helping a woman who had low back pain for many years, and had seen many, many doctors without resolve.  I seemed to notice when I helped her at my store, that her legs might be different lengths, and suggested she get them measured.  She came in a few weeks later, and told me she measured 1/8" off on one.  When I made her a heal wedge of that small amount and placed it in the shoe of her shorter leg, her back pain dissappeared!  She was very thankful toward me for helping her discover what the cause of her back pain was.

When not at work, I thoroughly enjoy decorating, jewelry-making, and organizing.  Leave me in a messy room, garage or closet to organize, and I am literally in seventh heaven!

I am outgoing, a natural helping others, and possess a good sense of humor.

Colin Booze

My name is Colin.  I have been with SHOES-n-FEET for almost four years.  I am happy to be part of a team that is passionate about helping people improve their lives.  It is exciting for me to have the opportunity to help customers find solutions to their footwear needs.  With proper footwear, people have the tools that they need to live life to the fullest.  We all want to stay active and healthy.  Appropriate supportive shoes play a major role in our ability to do so.

I personally enjoy walking, hiking, camping, and skiing.  Preserving my foot health is very important for me, so that I can participate in those activities for years to come.

One of my most memorable customer experiences involves a customer that does a great deal of travelling.  She is always searching the world for shoes that meet her style and comfort needs.  She had the best experience in our store, and truly appreciated the service that we provide.  We do like to take the time necessary to be sure that each customer is able to find the best possible solution.  She is now a customer for life and a joy to work with.

I look forward to helping you in the future.
