Meet our Outstanding Shoe Fitters

Mike Duey

Mike has been happily selling shoes since 2003.  He has earned the nickname “Dr. Know” because of his ability to detect and solve many complicated foot, orthotic and shoe problems.   Mike is a skilled instructor and communicator who takes the time to educate his customers about their feet.   He also trains the entire staff for both our Federal Way and Tacoma stores and serves as in-house technical support.

   Angela Ingram

As our “floating” shoe fitter, Angela works in both our Federal Way and Tacoma stores where she is also in charge of ordering and inventory control.

“Shoes are my passion,” says Angela, “and making people feel good in them is my hobby.”    Being able to inform and educate customers about their feet and the supportive shoes that will help them is why she loves working at SHOES-n-FEET.

Sophea Avellaneda

Coming from six years of previous experience with selling shoes in larger retail stores, I was only taught to "sell" shoes. As the newest member to the Federal Way SHOES-n-FEET family, I've learn that there is so much more to shoes then it seems. For the longest time, all I personally cared about was how the shoe looked - was it cute and the latest style? And I know with most women just like me, it is hard to give up. With the few months that I've been here, I've noticed that has been the greatest challenge. But SHOES-n-FEET has made it easy for a woman like me to overcome. Now, I can have proper supportive shoes and still be in fashion. Thanks SHOES-n-FEET for allowing me to join your team!

Hedda Beldi

Hedda found her way to SHOES-n-FEET through her former career as a sales representative. In the late 1990s, she worked with Chris Bentvelzen as they moved SHOES-n-FEET into franchised shoe comfort stores. Always impressed with SHOES-n-FEET's commitment to good foot health, customer service and providing quality products, she sold and serviced the retail stores quality products. Now retired from wholesale sales, she is helping out on the floor on a part-time basis. She feels being involved with a company who puts customers needs first is key to their success.

Hedda enjoys anything to do with nature, the outdoors, and spending time helping non-profits.

Lorraine

I am very customer service oriented and I love working with people. The reason I came to SHOES-n-FEET was that I wanted to understand more about foot issues and how to take better care of my feet, the main reason being that I am a diabetic. I have learnt so much and now I can pass the knowledge on to our clients. I feel very good when I am able to put a smile on someone's face - especially when they came in with pain. How rewarding is that!
