3-Day Walk Clinic: The Right Shoes for 60 Miles and Injury Prevention

SHOES-n-FEET Federal Way welcomes all walkers of the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure for an important clinic on March 24th!

This clinic includes a FREE Computerized Foot Scan that will help us determine arch type and how pressure is distributed throughout the bottom of your feet. After the scan, you'll receive a digitized image of your foot that you can show to family and friends.

Our expert Shoe Fitters will determine the right shoe for you and whether or not an arch support is recommended to help you survive the 60-mile Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure. We want to make sure you start - and finish! - comfortable and pain-free.

The hourlong presentation will include a number of important topics:
  • Choosing the right shoe for each individual based on type of foot and any related issues.
  • What to avoid and how?
  • Bunions, Blisters, Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendonitis, etc.
  • How important are socks and why?
  • Arch Supports – How important are they?
  • Importance of training, stretching, staying hydrated, etc.

After the clinic, attendees will enjoy an all-day 20% discount on athletic shoes, socks and arch supports (on non-clinic days, registered 3-Day walkers will receive a discount of 10%)!
