New 5K in Bellevue to support after school programs at Jubilee REACH

Get into the holiday spirit with SHOES-n-FEET’s first annual Winter Wonderland 5K and Lil’ Reindeer 1K. The event is being put on alongside community partner Jubilee REACH. With Halloween right around the corner, it’s time to break the costumes out for SHOES-n-FEET’s 2nd annual Monster Dash 5K and Lil’ Frankenstein 1K Run/Walk. The event will take place on Saturday, October 26 with the Kids 1K set to begin at 8:45 a.m., followed by the 5K Run/Walk scheduled for 9:15 a.m.  The festivities are being put on alongside the Seattle Humane Society in support of caring for pets in need. The sun is far from rising, but while most are sleeping, Trejo is starting her day. From 6 am to 7 pm, Trejo spends her time working three jobs.
