PORT ORCHARD WOMAN KILLED IN HAITI & FRIENDS & FAMILY VOW TO CONTINUE HER WORK
Molly Hightower’s causes was procuring shoes for those in need. Tragically Molly Hightower was killed during the devestating Haiti earthquake. Friends and family of Molly Hightower are working on two fundraisers to help survivors of the devastating Haiti earthquake to continue on her work in helping the people of Haiti.
Molly Hightower's nobel work to donate hundreds of shoes to orphans and disabled adults in Haiti will continue in her memory. Her father's employer, Service Steel Aerospace of Tacoma is collecting shoes to send to Haiti. Since Molly Hightower began the drive in November 2009, over 400 pairs of shoes have been donated. SHOES-n-FEET of Federal Way and Tacoma are proud to be able to help the friends and family of Molly Hightower continue Molly's work.
From now until February 15th, all Service Steel locations will be collecting shoes for the people of Haiti. We encourage you to get involved as well! If your company would also like to collect shoes, please send or drop off your pairs of shoes (please tie or bind them together) at any of our 4 locations from 9am – 4pm (Monday – Friday) Or you may bring your gently used shoes to either the Federal Way or Tacoma SHOES-n-FEET locations.
